How & Where to Buy Monitor
Monitor Packages
Each Monitor system is sold as a standard package which provides all the absolute essentials for a system to work. As every installation will be affected by the layout of the boat, what type of monitoring/protection is required and individuals preferences, the desired components can be added to achieve the installation design required.
The Standard Packages contain the following items: -
Main Control Unit with Internal Back up Battery
Two Key Fobs
External Status LED
Antenna
Strobe
Warning Stickers
Fixing Kit
Installation & Operating Manual
It is important to note that the standard packages do not include a Siren (it has become apparent that silent (message only) alarms are suitable for some installations) so a Siren should be added if required.
Designing the System
Detailed below is a brief overview guide to designing and specifying a system: -
The first step is to decide on what requires monitoring and the protection features required, you will find information about this in the Products section, once familiar with the various functions and features use the Comparison Table in the Products section to compare systems.
The table also indicates if additional components will be required to deliver the feature, the next stage is to select the additional components required.
The Prices page can be use to cost the specified system. These are guide prices only, they may differ from prices quoted by installers and may be changed from time to time without notice.
A more detailed guide and assistance on deciding layout and installation considerations can be found in System Layout under the Installation Considerations section.
